Upcoming Fall 2016 Presentations by Larry R. Bradley

Fall 2016 Appearances in the Kansas City Area by The Center Strikes Back

Election Reform Advocate Larry R. Bradley has four presentations scheduled for the Greater Kansas City area. Each of these informative presentations will demonstrate why American elections fail to result in government that creates long term consensus solutions. In sum, Bradley’s contention is Americans have the unsatisfactory behavior and outcomes they get from candidates and elected officials because of the system used to operate the election. Americans will continue to have the behavior and outcomes so long as they continue to use the system. Bradley will provide three recommendations to change the American Election System for the better (none of which involve Constitutional changes or term limits) and discuss how to make those changes a reality.

Here are the specifics regarding the presentations.

Two of the presentations are offered as classes through Metropolitan Community College Longview in Lee’s Summit, MO. Here is a link to their non-credit classes’ page. http://mcckc.edu/classes/community-ed/lv/ You can sign up by phone, by mail, or in person.

Here is a description of the two classes at MCC Longview.

Attention Angry Voters: Don’t Get Mad, Get Even!
Do you want to lower the impact of money in politics, make politicians more responsive to regular people and enable normal people to earn more money? Then you must accept the reality that there is no one individual candidate who is capable of giving you those things. Instead, the path to being able to have what you want politically starts with making three changes to how we do elections. Having those three changes in place will make possible the other things you want. Come find out what those three changes are, why they’re needed (and will work!) and how you can help get them made. All you have to lose is your anger.

Frustrated Politically? The Ballot Is the Culprit
The root cause of almost all the frustrations Americans feel about their elections and the gridlock those elections produce is the type of ballot being used. That ballot limits their choices as voters and suppresses the competition the candidates must face. This class will show you why the ballot is truly the cause and how the solution is three simple changes to state election laws. Those changes can all be done within the existing Constitution. Come find out what those changes are and how you can help make them happen. You have only your frustration to lose.
